The children are growing up, I see the empty nest in the not so distant future so here I am to explore parts of me that have been dormant, pushed aside at first by sleepless nights, babies, then little league, PTA and the tyranny of the urgent. So for now this is for me and perhaps those in my life who would take an interest in the process.

Six things that are unimportant but make me happy
finding a parking spot right near my regular entrance at the mall
Yum! I haven't had Oreo cookies in a long time. That now HAS to be part of the Memorial Day weekend. :)
I haven't seen October Sky but a co-worker told me that she thought I'd really like it. By the way, no TV in the bathroom---just borrow my husband's laptop and set up a make-shift shelf to set it up within reach of the tub.

I'm not too sure about the parking spot, the purse and shoes, or the makeup, but you totally nailed the Oreo cookies.
New shoes. Oh yes. ´Cause it takes me such a long time to find the right pair! And there is something about walking on fresh soles, isn´t there...
